Editor's Review
Sk8City Nairobi serves as a vibrant indoor hub for skating enthusiasts located conveniently within the city center. While it offers a unique urban escape, visitors should be aware that the space can become quite crowded during weekends and holidays, which may impact the quality of the experience for those seeking a relaxed environment.
If the rink is too busy or if you are a complete beginner feeling intimidated, consider heading to nearby public parks or recreational spaces in the CBD for a low-cost, open-air walk to clear your head before returning for a drink at the bar.
The Cost: Entry and skate rental fees vary based on session length and peak hours, typically ranging from KSH 800 to KSH 1,500 per person. Food and drinks are priced separately, with cocktails often featured in BOGOF promotions.
The Experience: The venue features a smooth, polished indoor rink designed for roller skating. It is a high-energy environment that requires decent physical fitness, though the lack of professional instructional support means you should be prepared to manage your own balance on the floor.
What you can get: A mix of roller skating sessions, a diverse menu featuring items like chicken salads and appetizers, and a fully stocked bar. The facility also functions as a space for social gatherings and active weight-loss exercise.
Ultimately, Sk8City is a solid choice for those who already have their skating legs or groups looking to enjoy a cocktail while watching the action, provided you manage your expectations regarding the level of service and instruction available.

So far it has been the best place. Enjoying with family & friends. I'd also recommend it over gym for weight lose and general body training........

This place is one of the worst places I've ever been too. It is not beginner friendly at all. The customer service is nearly non-existent and the ambience just feels off. If you are a beginner, just learning how to skate, don't go here. You won't get any help, and are more than likely to be discouraged from ever skating ever again.

An overall nice activity for kids especially those who already know how to skate but also learners can enjoy themselves The washrooms are not enough & not so nice. The music videos played are not age appropriate for kids.

It's a fantastic place for leisure or indoor exercise. It gets busy so the earlier you go the better. Also later in the evening is good

Great place for family outings. Went on a weekday so it wasn’t very crowded which was nice. My teenage sister had a wonderful time skating while my friend and I enjoyed BOGOF cocktails which were strong and worth every penny. The food choices were also very broad and the only thing I didn’t like about my teriyaki salad were the onion rings which were too oily but the avocado, pineapple, chicken and lettuce tasted great.
