Although they don’t have a Gluten Free version for breakfast, if you want to eat local food you can ask for the African or the Oliveira breakfast without the bread. The Oliveira one had nduma (a type of root), ngwaci (sweet potato), egg, fried beans and African tea. The cappuccino coffee was wonderful (big cup of coffee). Good price and good service.

The hotel is at a good place where there's no congestion but their food needs a lot of improvement. I've had lunch and early dinner once and the food was tasteless. First I had fish fingers and bhajia,the second time green mukimo which was smelly,beef was too dry and their cabbage was the worst. The only thing I loved about them is their coffee,nothing else!

I like the place. It's clean and the food is nice too. Although I didn't like the mango juice, probably coz I like middle sugared drinks. If a restaurant is clean,it will definitely attract me. And the hospitality is nice too.

I travelled to Kenya to join my friends. My flight came in very early so I had to get a hotel before joining them. I stayed at After 40 for the night and right opposite it was the Oliveira. I had a late lunch and dinner there. The staff there were tremendously friendly and helpful given that I was a foreigner. I enjoyed the food a lot though Kenyan food is a bit different from Nigerian food. Kenyans are not too big on pepper!!🙄
