Editor's Review
Golden Bliss Spa offers a central Nairobi retreat for those looking to unwind with facials, body treatments, and massages. While the facility provides a convenient escape, visitors should be aware that the management style can be inconsistent, and it is essential to clarify all costs and service expectations clearly with the front desk before entering the treatment rooms.
For a more budget-conscious or reliable alternative, consider visiting local hotel spas in the Westlands or Kilimani areas, which often provide more transparent pricing structures and standardized service protocols for international guests.
The Cost: Prices vary significantly based on the service requested, with premium body scrubs starting around KSH 6,000. Always demand a clear price list upon arrival to prevent any potential upcharges based on your residency status or nationality.
The Experience: The spa offers a quiet, indoor environment designed for relaxation, though the infrastructure occasionally shows signs of wear and tear. You will be expected to remain stationary for the duration of your treatment, but be prepared to firmly communicate your comfort preferences regarding massage techniques and disposable attire to your therapist.
What you can get: You can access a wide range of services including deep-tissue massages, reflexology sessions, specialized facials, and exfoliating body scrubs. The spa is best known for individual therapist expertise rather than the luxury of the facility itself.
Final verdict: Golden Bliss Spa is a hit-or-miss experience where the quality of your visit depends heavily on the specific therapist you book. If you prioritize skill over the facility's aesthetic and are comfortable navigating local business negotiations, you may find a great massage here, provided you remain vigilant about your billing.

I really enjoyed my massage all the way from South Africa, everything was perfect, starting from the reception Judy, was most welcoming and patient, allowed me to leave my luggage there as i was about to fly back home, to Minnie the therapist, who knows her craft, shes got magic hands and loves her job. Im definitely coming back when in Nairobi!!

This is the typical not recommend to mzungu Kenyan business. If still, you're thinking on giving it a try, I strongly advise you to set the price before booking, otherwise you will be overcharged, and they will even show you some images with the new almost 50% increased price that applies to you, due to your skin color. Besides reception and bad business managers, the service is actually good

The BEST reflexology massage I’ve ever had by Hadaishe (sorry if I destroyed the spelling of your name)! I have had many, many massages in my life all throughout the world and this was the most incredible! Highly, HIGHLY recommend this place!!! Especially her!!

Good facility but I would say very unprofessional staffs. We went for a couple massage and for some reason I felt so weird at first because for some reason those awkwardly dressed masseuses try to convince you on what massage u should get despite on having settled with the front desk person .Their ‘special oil ‘massage is the worst I have ever had (why was it so weird ! them having to climb the massage bed to stretch u is such a cringe and those ur diaper looking disposable pants that u give to ur clients please …coffee scrub that is worth 6,000 that I’m left with some bruises (bumps ) from it.Anyway I can go on and on but kindly look into the trashy service that is sadly very expensive …you can just get professional staffs who actually deliver some quality massage and are hospitable to the guests creating a good ambience for the massage ..and the room should be warmer .
