Editor's Review
K1 Klub House is a legendary Nairobi institution located in Parklands, serving as a reliable hub for sports enthusiasts and nightlife lovers alike. While it is easily accessible by major roads, visitors should be prepared for heavy traffic in the area during peak evening hours and weekends.
If you are looking for a more relaxed, budget-friendly alternative nearby, consider the various casual eateries along Ojijo Road where you can grab a quick bit before heading into the club to avoid the higher-priced snack menu during the late-night rush.
The Cost: Entry to the club is typically free, though select event nights may carry a cover charge. Expect to spend between KES 500 and KES 1,500 for a meal and KES 300 to KES 1,000 per drink depending on your choice of beverage.
The Experience: The club features a spacious, multi-level layout with a mix of paved outdoor and indoor areas. It is designed for socializing, dancing, and standing while watching matches on large screens, meaning there is very little formal seating for large crowds on busy nights.
What you can get: Highlights include the famous Aluta Thursday reggae sessions, massive screens for live EPL and F1 broadcasts, generous food portions, and a wide variety of local and international drinks in a smoking-friendly environment.
K1 Klub House remains a classic for a reason; it offers a high-energy, authentic Nairobi atmosphere that is hard to replicate. While service speeds can occasionally falter, the sheer variety of spaces and the consistent entertainment make it a staple for any social calendar.

The vibe and atmosphere at K1 Clubhouse were really good. The food quality was average, but they had a nice variety of alcoholic drinks. The music was also decent. Overall, if you’re looking to experience a standard yet local-style clubhouse in Nairobi, I’d recommend it.

The club is a vibe. So many areas and spots to hangout in the club. They have a great screen where they show F1, football matches and events such as the live watch of the US elections and debate. The prices are good, the waiters are nice but can seldom take their time, the facilities are clean and the club has so many options and spaces to choose from.

Food portions were generous and the drinks were very economically priced. We had a great time watching Liverpool lose to Chelsea in the EPL lol.
