Editor's Review
Paradise Farm Cottages by Mokawa Group is a hidden sanctuary in Nyeri, offering an escape from urban noise into a landscape of crisp air and lush greenery. While it is a haven for peace, visitors should note that the turn-off from the main road is discreet, so it is best to travel during daylight hours to ensure you don't miss the entrance.
If you find yourself looking for a more budget-friendly activity nearby, consider taking a nature walk through the surrounding Nyeri countryside or visiting local community tea farms, which offer a similarly authentic and peaceful experience without the premium cost of a resort stay.
The Cost: Accommodation rates are competitive for the level of luxury provided, generally ranging from KSH 8,000 to KSH 15,000 per night depending on the cottage size. Dining is considered high-end, with individual meals often ranging between KSH 1,500 and KSH 3,000.
The Experience: Visiting here is about slowing down. The terrain is natural and well-manicured, though guests should be prepared for some uneven garden paths while exploring the waterfall and surrounding grounds. It is a space designed for leisure, reflection, and gentle walks rather than high-intensity physical activity.
What you can get: You can expect spacious, elegantly finished cottages with excellent natural light, a private waterfall on-site, fresh forest air, and highly personalized customer service. The kitchen is particularly noted for its exceptional chapatis and high-quality, freshly prepared meals.
In summary, Paradise Farm Cottages is an ideal retreat for those willing to pay for quality service and tranquility. It is a thoughtfully designed space that balances modern comfort with the raw, refreshing beauty of Nyeri's landscape.

Definitely a good place for a retreat. It's quiet, serene and the cottages are spacious and tastefully decorated. The food is pricier than usual retreat areas but quite delicious. Found it odd to be served only one cup of coffee for breakfast.

Such a hidden gem! It offers a multi sensory experience - great food, beautiful sceneries including a waterfall, trees and other plants making the air so fresh and crisp no matter the time of day. I highly recommend it.

It was a nice place with good views and very well put together. The food was amazing and staff were polite and friendly. The rooms looked good and were spacious. The sign board from the road isn't big and is easy to miss it.
